A beautiful and special bicycle bridge has been installed between Katwijk en Oegstgeest (in Holland, by the river Rhine). This bridge connects the new district Duyfrak and Oegstgeest on the other side of the ‘Old Rhine’. And: provided with the ready to use ground covers by Covergreen®!

This beautiful piece of technique provides bikers the opportunity to cross the river directly and it connects the 2 cities.

In this movie below you can see how the bridge was installed. Officially called ‘Joop van der Reijdenbrug’, has been constructed by Strukton Infratechnieken and designed by architect Syb van Breda.

The ground covers on these slopes are installed by Bruin Groenvoorzieningen. Both sides of the bridge and the water contain hundreds of meters Covergreen ground covers Vinca minor. A beautiful view!
