Last year our ready-to-use ground cover Vinca Minor was installed on this incline around the pool ‘Freibad Schröttinghausen’ in Germany. In May this project has been extended with the same plant mats (Vinca minor – ‘Blue Vinca’).

Vinca minor is really suitable for this maintenance free incline, because of it’s fast growth and hardiness. Vinca minor can thrive under all circumstances, from sunny spots to shadow corners, and demands little in return. In this case this way of planting even provides the ground from rinsing out.
