Bad drainage and a difficult (clay) soil prevented the existing sedum from growing, while leaving the way open for weed. Van der Glas Hoveniers came to help.

‘For starters, we installed drainage tubes and connected them to the rainwater discharge. After that we mixed the soil with masonry sand. The natural stone terrace has been replaced to lead the drainage out of the garden, in stead of towards the sedum. Finishing touch was smoothing the soil and installing the ready-to-use sedum mats by Covergreen. To create one unity we replaced the wooden elevation by gabions filled with natural stone.’
